This Privacy Policy describes the personal information Thumzup Media Corporation (“Thumzup”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) collects from you when you use our websites, thumzupmedia.com and thunderadmin.com (collectively, the “Website”), how we use it, with whom we share it, and the choices you have in connection with this.

 

“Advertiser”, as used in this Privacy Policy, is a Thumzup client that has created one or more marketing campaigns through Thumzup’s services.

 

“Creator”, as used in this Privacy Policy, is an individual user who has signed up to participate in one or more Advertisers’ marketing campaigns.

 

APPLICABILITY

INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND USE

 

As you use our Website, Thumzup will collect personal information from you directly and automatically through cookies as outlined below.

 

A. Information We Collect Directly From You

 

When you use our Website, we will collect and use your personal information as follows:

  • Complete a Lead Form:  When you fill in our lead forms (typically after interacting with one of our advertisements), we will collect your business representative name, business email address, business telephone number, website, and business Instagram handle. We will use this information to contact you to discuss existing opportunities with Thumzup and communicate with you about future opportunities that may be of interest to you.

 

  • Interact with the Website chat: When you utilize the Website chat, we will collect, with your consent, your name, email address, telephone number, and any message you include in your communications with us. With your consent, we may contact you by telephone, including text message. You can opt out of receiving future text messages by replying “STOP” or “UNSUBSCRIBE”. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of participation in the Website chat. The information disclosed in the Website chat will be collected and shared with our website chat provider to facilitate the chat functionality and to provide efficient customer service.

 

  • Register with Dalmore Direct: When you register for an account with Dalmore Group, LLC to invest in Thumzup, we will collect your name, email address, selected password, telephone number, and investment amount. We do not collect your financial account information. We will use this information to process your investment and, based on your consent and contact preferences, communicate with you about your investment and investment opportunities.

 

  • Subscribe to the News: When you subscript to news and updates from Thumzup, we will collect your email address. We will use this information to send you our newsletter, and other promotional messages. We will share your email address with our third party marketing provider to send you marketing emails to the email address you provide and/or physical mailers to the mailing address you provide . You can unsubscribe from future emails at any time by clicked on the “unsubscribe” link in each email. Please note that we will continue to send you notifications necessary to the services or requested products or services. Our communications contain tracking technologies to analyze whether a predefined action took place by a recipient, such as opening our communications, in order to better adapt and distribute our communications. When you opt-in to our marketing communications, you are opting into the use of these technologies. You can opt-out of these cookies by refusing to download the email images.

 

  • Comment on a Website blog: When you post a comment on a Website blog, we will collect any personal information you include in your comment, including any picture or video you include in the blog comment. Please only include pictures or videos you are allowed to share. We will use this information to publish the comment and promote Website visitors’ interaction with the blog.

 

  • Contact us: If you contact us, we will collect from you your name, email address, telephone number, and any additional information you choose to disclose in your correspondence. We use this personal information to respond to your questions or inquiries, troubleshoot where necessary, and address any issues you may have.

 

  • Create an Advertiser account: Our campaign portal allows our clients to develop their advertising campaigns. To access the campaign portal, you will need to create an account. To create an account, we will collect your business name, business representative name, business address, social media handle, telephone number, email address, and selected username and password. We use this personal information to create and maintain your account and to facilitate your access to our campaign portal, and communicate with you about your campaign.  Thumzup may use your provided email address to send you email marketing communications we feel may be of interest of you. You may opt-out of receiving marketing emails from us by clicking the “unsubscribe” link provided with each email. Please note that we will continue to send you emails necessary to the Website or any assistance you request.

 

  • Fund your Advertiser Account: As an Advertiser, when you fund your campaign, we will collect from you, through our third-party payment portal, your payment information (credit card number, CVV, expiration date, ZIP code). We will only use this information to fund your Advertiser account. We only retain the last four digits of your payment card number. This Privacy Policy does not govern the third-party payment processors collection, use, and sharing of your personal information.  

  • Provide your telephone number on the Creators page: If you provide your telephone number on the Creators page, we will collect this information to follow up on your request to become a Creator.

 

  • Access to our Website: Thumzup may use your email address to send you email marketing communications we feel may be of interest of you. You may opt-out of receiving marketing emails from us by clicking the “unsubscribe” link provided with each email. Please note that we will continue to send you emails necessary to the Website or any assistance you request.

 

  • Thumzup may also use your personal information for other limited circumstances as described in INFORMATION SHARING.

B. Information Collected Automatically

 

In addition to the personal information you provide directly to us, we also collect information from you automatically as you use our Website via cookies. We collect the following information about you via cookies:

We use this information to: (i) track you within the Website; (ii) enhance user experience; (iii) conduct analytics to improve the Website; (iv) prevent fraudulent use of the Website; and (v) diagnosis and repair Website errors, and, in cases of abuse, track and mitigate the abuse.

  • Google Ads. We use Google Ads to deliver advertisements to you and to track whether you have interacted with an advertisement we have placed elsewhere on the internet. Google Ads stores a conversion tracking cookie on your device when you click on our advertisement. The information obtained through the cookie is used to generate statistics and allows us to see the total number of users who clicked on our advertisements. We also use Google Ads to present to users of our Website advertisements across the internet and within the Google advertising network based on their visits to our Website.   • Google Analytics. For the Website, we use Google Analytics to collect information on your use of the Website to improve our Website. In order to collect this information, Google Analytics may set cookies on your browser, or read cookies that are already there. Google Analytics may also receive information about you from applications you have downloaded that partner with Google. We do not combine the information collected through the use of Google Analytics with personally identifiable information.   • Google Tag Manager. Google Tag Manager is a tag management system to manage tags used for tracking and analytics on our Website. Tags are small code elements that, among other things, are used to manage traffic and visitor behavior and to test and optimize websites. We utilize Google Tag Manager to manage and organize all third-party tags on our Website and to control when those tags are triggered.   • YouTube. We use YouTube (owned by Google) as our video platform to embed content from YouTube on our Website.  YouTube places its own cookies on your device when you visit part of our Website where a YouTube video is embedded. YouTube uses these cookies to track viewing statistics and assign a unique identifier to the device on which the video is viewed, enabling YouTube to recognize the device.  This data is collected by Google.  Google can use this data to show relevant advertising and for its own promotional purposes in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy.  The Google cookies also allow YouTube and its partners to show you advertisements on and outside of YouTube.  To opt-out of this sharing and displaying of YouTube ads, visit Your data in YouTube, where you can clear and control the information YouTube collects on you. The YouTube videos on our site may also use local storage objects (LSOs) to store preferences like volume control.   • Facebook Pixel. We use Facebook Pixel to customize our advertising and to serve you ads on your social media based on your browsing behavior. This allows your behavior to be tracked after you have been redirected to our Website by clicking on the Facebook ad. The Facebook Pixel stores a cookie on your device to enable us to measure the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes. We do not have access to the information collected through the Facebook Pixel. However, the information collected via the Facebook Pixel is also stored and processed by Facebook. Facebook may link this information to your Facebook account and also use it for its own promotional purposes in accordance with Facebook's Data Usage Policy. The Facebook Pixel also allows Facebook and its partners to show you advertisements on and outside of Facebook. You can opt-out of displaying Facebook ads visiting your Facebook Ad Settings, and you can clear and control the information third parties share with Facebook in your Off-Facebook Activity page.   • HubSpot. We use HubSpot to analyze the data traffic on our Website and your behavior while using our Website. We use this information to gain valuable insights into user behavior on our Website to improve our Website. For more information on Hubspot, please review its privacy policy. We also use Hubspot to send our emails and to track the behavior of our email recipients. With the help of Hubspot’s conversion tracking, we can analyze whether a predefined action took place by an email recipient, such as opening our email, in order to better adapt and distribute our emails. Essential cookies cannot be disabled. However, in general, to disable cookies and limit the collection of information through them, you can set your browser to refuse cookies or indicate when a cookie is being sent.

 

INFORMATION SHARING

 

Thumzup will share your personal information in the following instances:

  • Within Thumzup: Where necessary, we will share your personal information within Thumzup in order to efficiently carry out our business and to the extent permitted by law.

  • With service providers: We will share your personal information with service providers that assist us in providing the Website, such as our IT support, email vendor, Website chat provider, investment broker-dealer (if applicable), payment processor, website hosting provider, and email and Website marketing provider.

 

  • With Advertisers: We will share your phone number with Advertisers to allow them to communicate with you regarding your social media post.

 

  • With Social Media Platforms: We share your Advertiser social media handle with social media platforms to provide the services.

 

  • In the event of a corporate reorganization: In the event that we enter into, or intend to enter into, a transaction that alters the structure of our organization, such as a reorganization, merger, acquisition, bankruptcy or liquidation or other disposition of assets, we would share your personal information with third parties in connection with the transaction.

 

  • For legal purposes: We will share your personal information where we are legally required to do so, such as in response to court orders, law enforcement or legal process, including for national security purposes; to establish, protect, or exercise our legal rights; as required to enforce our terms of use or other contracts; to defend against legal claims or demands; to detect, investigate, prevent, or take action against illegal activities, fraud, or situations involving potential threats to the rights, property, or personal safety of any person; or to comply with the requirements of any applicable law.

  • We do not currently sell any of your personal information under, nor do we plan to do so in the future.

 

CORRECT OR VIEW YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

 

You may access your account to correct or view certain personal information of yours in our possession and which is associated with your account.

 

RIGHTS OF NEVADA RESIDENTS

 

If you are a consumer in the State of Nevada, you may request to opt-out of the current or future sale of your personal information. We do not currently sell any of your personal information under Nevada law, nor do we plan to do so in the future. However, you can submit a request to opt-out of future sales by contacting us at info@thumzupmedia.com. Please include “Opt-Out Request Under Nevada Law” in the subject line of your message. DO NOT TRACK

 

We do not support Do Not Track (DNT). Do Not Track is a preference you can set in your web browser to information websites that you do not want to be tracked.  

 

INFORMATION SECURITY

 

We implement and maintain reasonable safeguards to protect the personal information we collect and maintain. However, no security measure or modality of data transmission over the Internet is 100% secure and we are unable to guarantee the absolute security of the information we have collected from you.

 

AGE RESTRICTION

 

The Website not intended for individuals under the age of eighteen (18).  If we learn that we have collected or received personal information from individuals under the age of eighteen through the Website, we will delete the personal information.
